The Blues visit the Hawks in Game 4 in Round 1 of the NHL playoffs.  The Blues lead the series 2-1 behind two thrilling OT comeback wins in St. Louis.  We aren ‘t in St. Louis anymore, Toto.  The Hawks win Game 3 on a shutout by Corey Crawford 2-0.  This isn’t necessarily a must-win for the Blues, but it’s really close.  Brandt (Hawks) and Doug (Blues) have a steak dinner riding on the series.

Carlos Gomez personifies the Bastard Gene.  He may have gotten carried away and caused a brawl against Pittsburgh.  The suspensions are handed down from MLB.  Who would you take for the next 10 years…Jose Fernandez or Michael Wacha?

Mizzou is in a much worse place than most fans think.  Their basketball program is not in great shape.  There is no tradition to speak of.  If Missouri hires UTEP head coach Tim Floyd it will be a terrible mistake and set their program back even further.  This hire will eventually cost Mike Alden his job as the Mizzou AD.  They need to take a page from a rival’s playbook.

WWE Wrap as Brandt and Doug discuss the way WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan is being used.  Doug views Bryan as a “placeholder champion.”  There is not enough time between Wrestlemania and the next PPV to get the individual feuds (programs) to the point that they need to be for a quality PPV.  Many options are on the table.  Will the WWE follow the advice of the UFR panel?  They will if they are smart.
