The 2014 Master’s at Augusta National starts today. Brand recaps his experience at the 2011 edition of the tournament. It really is a tradition unlike any other.

Brandt recaps his thoughts on the Master’s and his experience with Round 1 and the Par 3 Challenge in 2011,  Tiger Woods is still ranked #1…what?,  Josh Hamilton of the LAA Angels is having thumb surgery as the result of false hustle, Nirvana is on Fallon-Brandt and Alex discuss their place in music history, Nic Stauskus and Julius Randle to the NBA…not according to them, Joel Embid declares officially

Brandt goes to Augusta National in 2011 and recounts how it was the best experience he has had to date in sports.  Organization, friendliness and nostalgia all headline Augusta National.  The course is pretty decent, too.  Brandt recommends that every sports’ fan visit the Master’s, even if they are not golf fans.  The experience is very unique.

Brandt explains the concept of “False Hustle,” which is one of his biggest pet peaves.  Josh Hamilton, guilty of this offense, tears the UCL in his thumb and may require surgery.  Hamilton will miss 6-8 weeks recovering.  Never slide head first, or feet first, into 1st base kids!  The Angels should have spent some money on their rotation, rather than $25MM annually on an aging corner outfielder.  Just take a look at the Angels rotation.  Oops.

A new conspiracy theory involving the Ultimate Warrior’s death and possibly Illuminati involvement. Alex fills Brandt in on this concept.  Brandt loves conspiracy theories, but this one doesn’t quite connect the dots.  How can Ultimate Warrior have any information on anything?  OBD is also discussed, in the perhaps the most peculiar segment in UFR history.

Nik Stauskus and Julius Randle are connected to the NBA, through sources.  Both players flat-out deny the reports via their Twitter accounts.  Joel Embid has officially declared at a press conference on the campus of Kansas, with head coach Bill Self in attendance.  Hint:  all three of these players will be in the NBA next year.  Please.
