Brandt goes to Augusta National in 2011 and recounts how it was the best experience he has had to date in sports. Â Organization, friendliness and nostalgia all headline Augusta National. Â The course is pretty decent, too. Â Brandt recommends that every sports’ fan visit the Master’s, even if they are not golf fans. Â The experience is very unique.
Brandt explains the concept of “False Hustle,” which is one of his biggest pet peaves. Â Josh Hamilton, guilty of this offense, tears the UCL in his thumb and may require surgery. Â Hamilton will miss 6-8 weeks recovering. Â Never slide head first, or feet first, into 1st base kids! Â The Angels should have spent some money on their rotation, rather than $25MM annually on an aging corner outfielder. Â Just take a look at the Angels rotation. Â Oops.
A new conspiracy theory involving the Ultimate Warrior’s death and possibly Illuminati involvement. Alex fills Brandt in on this concept. Â Brandt loves conspiracy theories, but this one doesn’t quite connect the dots. Â How can Ultimate Warrior have any information on anything? Â OBD is also discussed, in the perhaps the most peculiar segment in UFR history.
Nik Stauskus and Julius Randle are connected to the NBA, through sources. Â Both players flat-out deny the reports via their Twitter accounts. Â Joel Embid has officially declared at a press conference on the campus of Kansas, with head coach Bill Self in attendance. Â Hint: Â all three of these players will be in the NBA next year. Â Please.
