The Ultimate Warrior’s unexpected passing at 54 has Brandt connecting the dots from childhood to adulthood.  Professional wrestling is one of the few things that can be consistent from for an individual into their 30s.  The Ultimate Warrior was just inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last Saturday night, the eve of Wrestlemania 30.  Brandt explains the effect of being able to have just “one more match.”

The Reds and Cardinals have played 2 games of an early season three game series.  Lance Lynn (2-0) remains undefeated despite not pitching well in either start.  The Reds jumped out to a 4-0 lead.  Homer Bailey loses for the 1st time in his career (25-1) when being staked to at least a four run lead.  Bourjos stays hot in the series with three hits.  Rookie Kolten Wong has a 2-run triple early in the contest.  Yadier Molina goes up top.

Mike Breyman calls in to discuss his former life as a Kentucky baseball.  We draw the comparison of Kentucky Basketball fans and St. Louis Cardinals fans. They are similar, but UK fans seem to be more extreme, without the benefit of a professional team in close proximity.  John Calipari gets too much credit for his players making plays at the right time. Kentucky got off too easy for their loss to UCONN.  Kevin Ollie, at 41, leads his team to a championship in only his 2nd season as the head coach.  It’s very, very impressive.  Let’s not forget…Shabazz Napier and Ryan Boatright are NBA-level players.  Ollie wasn’t working with chop liver.
