Writer and director Alexandra Pechman joins us to discuss how her career as a magazine writer led to her career as a filmmaker, her short film Thumb, which is premiering at Fantasia August 10th and 12th, and her latest short film Sleep, which won her a grant from the organization the Future of Film is Female.
