Tarek Suleiman: Beast from the Middle East

May 21, 2015

Tarek Suleiman knows a thing or two about fighting. Born and raised between Syria and Lebanon, Tarek has lived his whole life surrounded by adversity.

An accomplished competitive swimmer as a child, Tarek Suleiman evolved into a hard nosed amateur boxer in his teens and shortly after became enamored with mixed martial arts.

Training out of the Manic Factory Gym in Lebanon, Tarek quickly took a pair of semi-pro MMA fights in Cage Warriors purely off the strength of his kickboxing skills. He emerged victorious both times against high level ground opponents and since then has made it top priority to improve his grappling skills.

With a pro record of 4-2 and all 6 bouts taking place in Desert Force, Tarek Suleiman has become a pillar of the Middle East’s most prominent promotion. With charisma for days, an exceptional work ethic and a ferocious fighting style, it wasn’t long before Tarek found himself in a training camp capable of matching his ambitions.

Enter Tiger Muay Thai. With his last 3 fights taking place under the Tiger Muay Thai banner, Tarek’s ground skills have gone through the roof and he’s now arguably considered the best grappler in the promotion.

Now equipped with an elite well-rounded game, Tarek Suleiman will be fighting for a #1 contender spot for the Desert Force welterweight title on May 25th in Jordan.

A student of the game and one of the hardest workers in a camp known for its relentless competitors, the sky is the limit for Tarek Suleiman. 2015 is his time and he plans to make the most of it starting on Monday, where a victory will take him within one fight of being crowned a champion in the promotion he has made his home.

Win or lose, Tarek Suleiman has never gone to a decision in his pro mixed martial arts career. He plans to pursue this do or die attitude to the delight of his fans, which are increasing in numbers exponentially thanks to the massive reach and exposure of Desert Force.
