EP040 - We’re joined by legendary striking coach Roberto Flamingo & Polish fighter Piotr Hallman as they prepare for his fight at UFC Berlin in June 20th.
With the current international expansion of the UFC, the promotion is discovering new talent all over the globe. The first UFC event in Poland recently took place in Krakow and was a resounding success. One of the top fighters in the country is lightweight contender Piotr Hallman.

Currently 2-2 in the UFC, Piotr has had big fights with Yves Edwards, Gleison Tibau and top 10 lightweight Al Ianquinta. Win or lose, Piotr is known for his exciting well-rounded style that generally result in one of two things: a quick first round finish or a 3 round “Fight of the Night†performance. With a record of 15-3, 7 knockouts, 7 submission and 8 first round stoppages, the numbers don’t lie.
Firmly aware of the deep level of talent in the UFC’s lightweight division, Piotr Hallman has recently enlisted the services of one of the most accomplished striking coaches in the business, Roberto Flamingo.

Flamingo has trained one of the most jaw-dropping array of fighters in the industry: Gilbert Yvel, Tyrone Spong, Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort, Eddie Alvarez, Fedor Emelianenko, Anthony Johnson, Gegard Mousassi, Ben Henderson…the list of all-star talent is virtually endless. Few trainers can lay claim to having helped forge the amount of success that Flamingo has.
Of particular note, Roberto Flamingo is one of the driving forces behind the success of UFC heavyweight standout Alistair Overeem. Roberto was instrumental in the incredible run of victories that led Overeem to becoming champion in K-1, Dream and Strikeforce simultaneously.
