TUF winner Travis Lutter and BJJ ace Paul Halme: Born to Roll

April 23, 2015

EP032 - Former UFC middleweight contender and TUF season 4 winner Travis Lutter joins the podcast along with Brazilian Jiu-jitsu wizard Paul Halme!
In the relatively short span of 16 pro MMA fights, Travis Lutter made history 3 times. The first was by winning season 4 of the Ultimate Fighter. The second was by missing weight in his middleweight title fight with Anderson Silva. And the 3rd was by being the first opponent to actually put Silva in danger over the course of that memorable contest.
A fierce competitor, Lutter has fought many of the greatest names in the history of the UFC middleweight division: Jorge Rivera, Matt Lindland, Patrick Cote, Jason Macdonald and Rich Franklin among them.

Retired from professional MMA competition since 2012 due to serious injuries to his neck and knee, Travis has kept busy competing in high level jiujitsu tournaments and expanding his successful MMA gyms.
Throughout the course of his career, Travis has been supported by longtime friend and training partner Paul Halme. Fresh of an impressive victory over former UFC fighter Renato “Babalu†Sobral to win the Masters 2 World No GI Championship, Halme is a 3rd degree IBJJF certified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and a Muay Thai Kru under the legendary Master Toddy.
