New Info emerges from NYCC about Star Wars Rebels:  NYCC was October 10-13, 2013, so it’s somewhat unusual that these news bits are dropping now, but there is a great article over at ComicBookResources.com about the upcoming Star Wars Rebels series.  Some facts that have emerged from a panel given by Pablo Hidaldgo at NYCC:

1. 
   
2. The series takes place just before “A New Hope.”
   
3. A new character, the Imperial Inquisitor, was introduced.
   
4. The art is sticking very closely to Ralph McQuarrie’s concept art, which many folks seem excited about.
   
5. Debuts in the Fall of 2014.
   
6. It answers many questions that fans have had about Star Wars – like “How do TIE fighter pilots actually get into their ships?” and “Why did the Empire switch from Clone Troopers to Storm Troopers”?
   
7. Simon Kinberg, one of the Executive Producers, could not attend the panel because he’s working on other projects, including his own Star Wars spinoff film.
