Happy to have Joseph Reid back on the podcast! I interviewed Joe back in 2018 when his writing career was starting off with the first book in his now bestselling Seth Walker series featuring the air marshal-turned-investigator who solves crimes in and around aviation.  The latest book in that series, DEPARTURE, will be published on August 11, 2020.
Joseph Reid is the son of a navy helicopter pilot, Reid chased great white sharks as a marine biologist before becoming a patent lawyer who litigates multi-million-dollar cases for high-tech companies. He has flown millions of miles on commercial aircraft and has spent countless hours in airports around the world. A graduate of Duke University and the University of Notre Dame, he lives in San Diego with his wife and children.
During the interview we talk about Joe’s writing process, the changing landscape the global pandemic has caused on the travel and publishing industries, and a lot more.
