There's something magical about traveling. The thrill of it, the adventure, the uncertainty.

It's something that you must find out yourself.

Join us as we invite one of our listeners as a featured guest on the podcast to share his experience as a travel hacker.

Featured Guest

Alex de Frondeville is an IT Project Manager for Verizon based outside of Boston, MA. He's a dual U.S. and French citizen. Since he started travel hacking 3 years ago, he has amassed over 880,000 miles through signup bonuses. He's also traveled all over the world playing national and world ultimate frisbee championships.

"Mileage redemptions are just a different world because the rules around mileage redemptions. You can do stuff that you wouldn't normally buy a ticket for."

On flying first class:

"You know, it's pretty nice... it's an aspirational redemption. It's something you're not going to pay for and the incremental cost over the economy round trip is not so much... it's hard to argue against that."
Wrap Up

It's always really nice to speak to another fellow traveler who's equally as passionate about seeing the world. I love it that Alex has figured out a way to travel so much without it actually costing him too much money on travel and at the same time taking advantage of promotions so that he can have nicer experiences such as business class flights and high end hotels.

What's awesome is that he plans to take his children along with him in his upcoming travels, which I am a huge advocate for.

Thank you for tuning in and have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Cheers,
KL
