My former roommate Rae Fagin and I take a look back at the pilot episode of NBC's PARKS AND RECREATION, a show very near and dear to both of our hearts because of its comforting brand of enthusiasm and depiction of truly healthy and endearing relationships, both romantic and friendships. However...very little of what we love about this show is present in the pilot.
