TIL 017: Interview with Birth Doula and Student Midwife Laura Correia
This week I talk all about what it's like being a doula (and student midwife!) with my friend Laura Correia!
She has had the amazing experience of being present for over 100 births (which include the laboring part - don't forget!!)....can you imagine that!? Â I am so excited to share with you all that she has to say about this!
She talks all about her decision to become a doula and midwife, how this field has impacted her life, what it's like having a family in this "flexible - inflexible" type of job, the beauty and similarity between birth and death, and she describes the certification processes for doulas and midwives.
I hope you enjoy it!
