How can we teach children about consent during their younger years? Listen to this episode to find out in which the Puberty Prof talks with Lauren K. Carlson about simple concepts supporting consent for people of all ages. A victim of sexual assault herself, Lauren understands the importance of supporting all children, including the “child inside,” as well as providing them a voice. In addition, she recommends how adults can support victims when told that inappropriate behaviors occurred, including adults saying: “I believe you,” “It wasn’t your fault, and “You didn’t deserve it.”
