Despite some fairly significant negative data the major averages closed with large gains as the Fed’s 4.5 trillion in announced stimulus works its magic.  For the Easter holiday shortened week the Standard and Poors 500 Index advanced 212 points or 8.2% while the NASDAQ gained 494 points or 6.4%.
