The Market Bull – April 1, 2020
Despite mixed economic data the major averages kicked off the 2nd quarter with substantial losses after the shelter in place order got extend 60-days. The major averages marked large declines in the first quarter with the Standard and Poors 500 Index down 618 points or 19%, while the NASDAQ gave up 1,339 points or 14.8%. These figures would have been far worse were it not for the markets 10%+ bounce last week.
