It's a new year and there are lots of new things that will soon become like all the other things, 'old' and seemingly 'useless', but one thing that I don't believe will ever get old for me is hearing the stories people tell about their journey through life, regardless of where they are in that journey.

Some stories give me insight into a person's life and teach me how they became who they are now, while other stories cause me to reflect upon my own life. Whatever the case may be, I look forward to continuing sharing the stories of ordinary people like you and me. People who have questions and those who have answers about what its like to walk in similar shoes and who are willing to share it with all of you via this podcast.

This week I have one of the most incredibly talented, kind, and passionate people I have had the pleasure of meeting in the last few months while serving at Renaissance Church in Decatur, IL. Keirstyn Worden is my guest for this 1 year anniversary episode of the show and she certainly did not disappoint. We talked for almost and hour and a half about her life and her ministry as a youth director at the church. Keirstyn talks with us about her childhood with 7 brothers and sisters living in the house and the incredible parenting skills of her parents helped shape her into the passionate person she is today.

We talked about how watching them do ministry lead her to want to become involved in church life at an early age, even holding church services for her collection of Beanie Babies while just a young girl. I believe you will enjoy the energy that Keirstyn brings to this conversation and to life as she looks forward to growing as a persons after the heart of God and in love with the man of her dreams along with their precious first baby girl. God has certainly shown her his favor and I believe she will continue to be a world changer with a passion for loving people like Jesus.
