Joe Conzo on The Manny Faces Show - Episode 002

September 11, 2014

On this episode of The Manny Faces Show, I spoke with Brooklyn-based rapper, freestyler, DJ, educator and meditator Rabbi Darkside as he prepares for a headlining Blue Note show ahead of his 13th international tour.

We then heard a selection from Supaman, the Native American rap artist from Montana blending genres and bridging cultures with his music.

After, we heard about Lacresha Berry, who is putting together an amazing, entertaining and informative musical tribute to her Kentucky roots.

And lastly, I talk in-depth with the "man who took hip hop's baby pictures," Joe Conzo about his storied career. Joe provides amazing insight as to his participation in the documentation of what is now a worldwide culture. Joe, also a NYFD paramedic/EMT for many years, relates his harrowing 9/11 story, on the eve of the sober event's 13th anniversary.

All this, on the official debut of The Manny Faces Show on www.BondfireRadio.com.
