Our Compass Only Points To The North Museum

August 12, 2013

In celebration of 60 years of serving the community the North Museum sent over two of their best to help bring us up to speed on everything the museum has to offer. Museum curator and paleontologist Andy Redline and Sr. Astronomer “Cosmic” Mike Smith are more then up to the task. The duo waste no time in sharing how the museum established it’s collection and basically giving us the rundown on how day to day planning of exhibits happens. Later we look to the future and the exciting exhibits that will be showing at the museum later this year. There was a lot to learn in this episode from how diamonds aren’t forever, to the psychological thought process behind planing exhibits, and where all the specimens come from. However, one thing we didn’t learn was how to get a cool moniker like Cosmic before your name. I guess somethings even science can’t explain.
