I knew my old buddy Jack Hughes was a nerd for things like photography and films – but just I recently found out he was a keen board game enthusiast.  This week I caught up with Jack to find out more about his favourite pastime and the current ‘Golden Age‘ of board games.
To give me a bit of an introduction to some of the accessible games showcasing different playing styles, Jack set up a games night with some friends to play three of his favourites: Escape, Saboteur and Avalon.  You’ll hear some some recordings of this (heavily censored) towards the end of our chat.
We also take some quick diversions to talk about Games of Thrones, The Beatles and how Monopoly might be the worst board game ever.
