Jason Armburu Interview

August 21, 2014

Jason Armburu has a crazy passion for agriculture.  During his work in Kenya he found a need for a way to measure the changes in soil quality but nothing was available.  He began learning about the internet of things and how it could impact his project but he didn’t have the technical skills.  After a short time with an Arduino and some prototyping under his belt he was ready to put together a team and go after his smartgarden controller concept called Edyn.

Jason shares his voyage from Princeton to Kenya.  The hurdles cleared along with the failures and lessons learned come from Jason’s telling of his story about the development of Edyn.

Hear Jason's interview and find all the resources we talked about and more at www.theiots.com.  I cover the developers and disrupters in the internet of things, wearable, quantifiedself and smart home technology.
