The Hour Cosmic

Episode 77: Mr. Falcon and the Stranger in the Alps with Ryan Browne

July 27, 2014

Welcome to another installment of The Hour Cosmic, your favorite comics game show! This week, our guest is the writer/artist behind "God Hates Astronauts," Ryan Browne!

On this week’s show, among other things, we discuss:

- The joys of censorship!

- The city of Chicago!

- Sound effects!

Let's meet our guest, shall we?

Ryan Browne is a busy dude. In addition to doing a few issues of "The Manhattan Projects" to give his buddy Nick Pitarra a breather, and finishing up an arc on "Bedlam" at Image, he is never far from his webcomic "God Hates Astronauts," which launches as an ongoing series in September for Image! Plus, he has more "Blast Furnace" coming our way, and manages to do awesome sketches for us! He's also a return guest, have appeared on The Hour Cosmic before, and can be found on Tumblr, his website, and on Twitter (@RyanBrowneArt).
As always, your hosts are:

Chad Bowers – South Carolinian, GI Joe enthusiast, co-writer of “Subatomic Party Girls" “Down Set Fight,” and “Awesome Hospital” with Chris Sims, and writer of “Monster Plus.” He teaches us cool expressions like “Oh, snakes!” and has a lot of opinions about barbeque.

Vince Ostrowski – Minnesotan, Mad Men enthusiast, staff writer and social media dude for Multiversity Comics. When not not-loving season 4 of Arrested Development, Vince can be found Tweeting furiously and not eating meat.

Brian Salvatore – New Jerseyan, New York Mets enthusiast, host of “Input/Output,” a music podcast, and occasional blogger/freelance writer. He has never met a dog he didn’t like (even that one that bit his leg when he was 10), and has baked better bread than he ever thought possible.
