ZemaSol™ – Use in Concrete Sealers and Alkyd-based Paints | The Green Solvents Show #006

May 21, 2014

The Green Solvent Show #006
Companies which manufacture concrete sealants, glazes, alkyd-based paints and other similar products typically use Xylene and Toluene in the process. There are other alternatives available which can help reduce your costs and give you and your customers a more pleasant experience.

Please invest 20 minutes to listen to The Green Solvents Show. Host Erik Reynolds interviews Dave Pasin, co-Founder and President of TBF Environmental, about ZemaSol™ (patent pending), an environmentally-friendly solvent developed by TBF to act as a replacement for Xylene and Toluene in concrete sealants and glazes and alkyd-based paints.

Take the time to listen to this podcast and find out how to make your business more environmentally friendly while also saving on costs.
ZemaSol Has Many Benefits
Dave begins the episode with a description of TBF’s breakthrough solvent ZemaSol. This green solvent is considered to contain no Volatile Organic Compounds (0 VOC), which solves a major problem for solvent users needing to reduce emissions to enhance worker safety and to comply with VOC content limits.

ZemaSol performs better than other alternative solvents such as Tertiary Butyl Acetate (TBAc). ZemaSol has a better solvency and solubility and a better dry time. As Dave explains, this gives a more versatile formulation.

ZemaSol also costs less than TBAc.
Helping With A Concrete Sealant Or Glaze
Dave discusses several other topics in this podcast:

How ZemaSol can create an alkyd-based paint product with lower odour and toxicity, which benefits workers and customers.
Other benefits of ZemaSol for manufacturers of concrete sealants and glazes.
What alkyd based paints ZemaSol can help formulate.
Why ZemaSol is a superior product to Xylene and Toluene.

Replace Xylene and Toluene With ZemaSol
ZemaSol can replace Xylene and Toluene in your formulation of concrete sealants and glazes without sacrificing performance and reducing environmental damage from solvents.  Listen to Dave in this insightful podcast and give us your thoughts.
