Victory Inner City Ministries on The Gospel for Planet Earth Podcast!
Recently, I had the distinct privilege of visiting with Eric Himelick, the founder of Victory Inner-City Ministries, and his beautiful family as they came through our town and shared about their efforts to live out the Gospel in the inner cities. During that time, I also got to sit down and record a podcast with Eric which discusses some of the facts about their ministry and how they go about seeking to have redemptive relationships with folks in the inner city, or wherever, who have known very little redemption in their lives. The Apostle Paul said that God was reconciling all things to Himself through Jesus (Colossians 1:20). Have we considered what it means that God has reconciled “all things”, even the cities to Himself? Furthermore, have we considered what it means that God has “…committed to us the word of reconciliation”? (2 Corinthians 5:19). What would it look like for God to be reconciling the cities to Himself through us?
