What is Man?

“What is man that you are mindful of him?” These words from Psalm 8 were once well known. But today, fewer and fewer Americans are familiar with the scriptural texts. Today, many people struggle with issues of self-worth, meaning, purpose, identity, etc. Many are not aware of what the Bible has to say on the subject. I submit that it is worth our time to consider the perspectives of the ancient Israelite nation.
