GCB0104 - A Day At The Museum With Kerry

August 26, 2013

Episode 104 finds me at the Clarke County Museum in Grove Hill, Alabama.  I enjoyed myself immensely while recording this show.  That weekend, actually, was probably my most favorite trip back home.  The are many that come in as close seconds, but this one takes the cake as the most wonderful, exciting, and educational.

If you haven’t picked it up from previous podcasts or blog posts, I am a history lover.  Thankfully, Kerry at the CCM is as well.  We didn’t go through the entire museum, but what we talked about shows our enthusiasm.  I could have stayed much longer, looking through each room and discovering what Clarke County’s history had in store for me.  I will go back in the future and do a more thorough walk-through.

I hope that you all like this episode because it talks about an area that is dear to my heart.  The people and place are just as country as you could imagine.  Many people living there would rather it retain its quiet, peaceful atmosphere and leave the noisy, urban life in the distance.  I don’t quite blame them to be honest.
