As people return to school I thought it could be a good time to recall what it was to be a teenager, and what better way than by getting in touch with the teenage roots. We use Rebel Without a Cause and Blackboard Jungle (both from 1955) to analyze how American youth grew up on screen. We also talk about the new Matrix trailer, 9-11 and its films, and What We’re Watching.
