S2: Episode #2 (Conrad Anker) & The March For Public Lands - The Dreamer

August 10, 2017

This week I sit down with a personal hero of mine, Conrad Anker. Conrad is a world-renowned alpinist who has an extensive resume of first ascents all around the world, perhaps most notably his discovery of the body of missing adventure climber George Mallory on Mt. Everest in 1999, or his first ascent of "The Shark's Fin" on Meru peak.

Conrad and I talk about his beginnings in climbing, his path to becoming a professional climber, his experience with Meru and the risks that go in to taking on such a lofty endeavor.

Check out what Conrad is up to at conradanker.com , follow him on instagram @Conrad_anker , and support the brads he represents (The North Face, Smartwool, Voke Tab, Petzl, Bluewater Ropes)

I also cover my experience at the March for Public Lands in Salt Lake city while I was in town for the Outdoor Retailer Trade Show.
