023 The Dis Life – Disney Resort Series – Grand California, Disneyland Hotel, Aulani

March 22, 2014

In this episode I talk with Dave Tupper from Kids Adventures Hawaii who is a DVC member, owning at Aualni. We discuss his experience with staying at the Disneyland Hotel in 2010, his Halloween stay at the Grand Californian resort in 2013, and we talk a little about Aulani. There will be a future episode dedicated solely to Aualni and Hawaii vacations.

Disney's Grand Californian is one of three Disney resort at Disneyland. This resort is connected to Disney's California Adventure. It gives you access directly into the park without even leaving the resort.

Pictures from Dave Tupper's trip to the Grand Californian:

The Disneyland Hotel is the oldest of the Disney resorts at Disneyland, but it is not old in looks. This resort will allow you direct access to Downtown Disney which is just a short walk to the main gate's of both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure.

Disney's Aulani Resort is located in Hawaii on the island of O'ahu in the Ko Olina area. In this episode we discuss a little about the resort, but we do not go in depth because on a later episode of the Disney Resort Series we will be discussing Aulani in detail.

The guest in today's episode, Dave Tupper, is the podcast host for Kids Adventures Hawaii and can be contacted on Twitter, Instagram, or by email. Dave's podcast focusses on adventure in Hawaii. If you have ever wanted to go to Hawaii and you want to know what there is to do, this is the podcast for you. The title may be Kids Adventures, but I assure you that it is as much for adults as it is kids. Don't show up on O'ahu and get wrangled into those special tours with that weird guy on a bicycle. Listen to Dave's podcast and know where you should go to have the fun you are looking for at any age.
