Jeff Stillwagon has been a supporter of TheDisLife podcast since its inception. Here is his journey through 2013.

My family’s 2013 Disney review of this year has been life changing. It all started on spring break in March, it was our very first WDW trip for all of of us except my wife who went 3 times when she was teenager. It took me 32 years to see WDW. We finally got there and we where hooked as soon as we walk onto Main Street. We felt the magic instantly. When I was growing up I always wondered what it felt like to walk down Main Street. It just felt like a dream for us. After our spring break trip a couple months later my wife took a job as a CM at the only disney store here in South Carolina, talk about excited. Now we are part of the Disney company, in a small role, but seeing Mickey Mouse on your paycheck is pretty cool. Plus, my house is filled with Disney products, which not a bad thing. After our excitement of one of us working for Disney we both agreed we had to go back to WDW, which turned into we need to get Annual Passes, and we did in Oct. We went back to WDW for only my 2nd time in my entire life. We were able to see MNSSHP, which was amazing, it lived up to the hype. We also got to experience the food & wine festival for the first time, which was fun. One of coolest things I got a chance to do on my 2nd trip is meeting TheDisLife podcast family very cool to meet friends that share the same passion for Disney as you do. As I look back at 2013, it’s just crazy to think when I started the year I had never been to WDW or ever cared to, until I saw it in person for the first time. At the end of day it’s not the rides or food that keeps me coming back it’s all the memories being made with family and friends that truly makes WDW the happiest place on earth.

Chad Weirick has also been a good friend. Even though we have never met in person we have built a friendship via Facebook and Twitter. He sent me his exciting year in review. “This is the year my partner and I joined Weight Watchers last Jan. Now have lost 45 lbs., started running and working out and just last month found out I no longer have to take cholesterol medication ..totally turned our lives around..”

Emily, even being as far away as Whales, is still a loyal listener and friend. She was able to make her 10th visit to WDW this year and we plan to meet up at the end of Summer 2014 at WDW.

This has been a wonderful year of podcasting and spreading the Disney magic in any way I can. The Hodges family is very appreciative to all of you who take time to listen to us ramble.

I hope you all have a wonderfully magical 2014.
