Like many things born in Silicon Valley, you might say Strava, the favorite app of millions of athletes, is a happy accident. We sit down with Mark Gainey, Chairman and co-founder of Strava, to talk about his roots on the soccer fields and tracks of Reno Nevada and what it took to go on to start a ten billion dollar company in his 20s. And of course the happy accident that led to what’s now a 30 year friendship with his co-founder, Michael Horvath.
