Mary Matlock has become a dear sweet friend that is passionate about spreading the word of God, through love and graciousness.  She has the perspective of the ancient world through the eyes of her culture.    It was her desire to prove God wrong.  Her desire to proved Budda as a god meant spending time in the Bible.
