As we podcast into the final stretch of our Book Misreading Scripture Through Western Eyes,  Our Podcast Removing Cultural Blinders- at the feet of My Aunt Maxine Wallis, looks at the power behind studying Customs and Manners of the Bible. 

My Aunt Maxine Wallis has been at the feet of Christ for 80 years,  Her study did not include seminaries or Bible colleges, but ready and teaching others.  Her reputation at the Southwest Church of Christ is that of honor as she teaches 9 months out of the year.  

The Bible Times Sunday School class is made up of hands-on learning with a Bible Meal at the end of the Year.   You cannot imagine the time and effort that she has put in to show others, Christ. 

Teaching Sunday School from a hands-on perspective of what SOP means.  How the Jewish people ate, as well as what was the Salt Covenant.   These things are so important to truly glean the meanings behind the scriptures.
