On this week's episode of the Woke Wave, I sit down with Writer, Youtuber, & Creator Simbi Akani. Simbi is better known as Sim Inspired online for the inspirational messages she shares with a community that she has built around turning her insecurities into ignition for her purpose. Simbi believes that anyone can step into their purpose when they are open to inspiration and connection with God.

Simbi shares her experience growing up with a speech impediment, how she found Christianity and what it means for her purpose, and her motivation for creating her documentary "THREADS" which features the raw and honest conversations and confessions of insecurities from all kinds of people.
