At the Life Skills Academy we think that too many conversations about education happen in absence of student voices and the lived experiences they have to share. We are committed to avoiding this omission, and are thrilled to bring listeners conversations with students from all over the world as a regular part of our programming.


In our first thematic cycle of season 2, we spoke with five students from four different countries about their various educational experiences, including their struggles and successes. Listeners will benefit from these students’ first hand experiences navigating unfamiliar subjects and settings, socializing with people from different backgrounds, learning through language barriers, maintaining personal wellness, finding life balance, and planning for the future.


Parents thinking about giving their student an international education and anyone wondering what life is like from the perspective of an international student will find these conversations especially engaging.
