In part two of a pair of episodes on MI for opiate and stimulant use Opiatesdisorders, Glenn and Sebastian happily welcomed Paul Delaney to the podcast. Paul is a clinical supervisor, therapist, adult educationalist and trainer, based in Dublin, Ireland. His background is in the addictions field originally working as an addiction counsellor helping to develop Employee Assistance Programmes. He received his initial training in Motivational Interviewing in 1992 in the UK and after further training he became a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) after attending the first MINT Forum in Malta in 1997. Paul says he was privileged to have been chosen to chair the local host committee for the 20th anniversary meeting of MINT, held in Dublin, Ireland in October 2017.
