As we say over and over, the best part about having the Double-A Springfield Cardinals here in town is the front-row seat to players making the big leagues and being able to see who might be next, as they come up from the lower minors.

And, no one covers the Cardinals organization as a whole like TheCardinalNation.com and its leader Brian Walton. B Walton was in SGF for the season-opening series and joined us on the Pabst Blue Ribbon Studio phone after STL’s Opening Day and gave us some organizational perspective.
