Hi, welcome to episode 31 of Switched On. I’m Ludwina Dautovic and in this weeks episode I’m having a chat with Mike Conway, founder and producer of  XVenture Digital and the 100 Leaders program. Today we discuss leadership in business and how XVenture is utilising digital means to sell and promote their content online.

Mike’s skill set is wide and varied.  Strategist, business writer, entrepreneur, storyteller, interviewer, director, producer, coach, teacher, speaker and musician.  He has a rare mix of global experience as a business leader, as a highly regarded personal and executive coach and advisor.  Most importantly, above all else he believes that “We’re only here for a short time so let’s live a full life and make things easy for each other.”
His extraordinary life includes executive work experience in more than twenty countries with some of the World’s best companies and high profile individuals. Board and/or Senior Executive positions at, Deloitte, EY, Spartan Sports, Standards Australia, The Wiggles and the Central Coast Mariners.  Advisory and partnership roles with organisations such as: ABC, Ardent Leisure, Acxiom, BUPA, Comcast, Disney,  Lend Lease, Macquarie Bank, Michael Clarke’s Academy, Optus, The Pepper Group, Spondo, Stryker, Travel Scene, TNT, Unilever,  Warner, Westmead Children’s hospital.   Creating solutions for groups such as:  the dance company, Burn the Floor; John Waters and his Glass Onion show in Broadway; Kym Johnson of Dancing with the Stars; Kevin Keegan for his soccer programs and Amy Dickson, the classical saxophone player.
He’s helped develop and designed World class shows and brands including the pan Asian group “Blush” working closely with Spice Girls and Take That producer Eliot Kennedy.  He is an experienced interviewer, producer, director having worked with people such as Paul Keating, Steve Waugh, Meatloaf, Laura Geitz and Jason Gilkison. He’s also played music with Elvis Presley’s TCB Band and performed on the same stage as the Rolling Stones!   His thoughts and ideas have been seen in a number of places including major Conferences such as MIPCOM Cannes, the CPA National Conference, a chapter in John Eale’s book on Business Legends, PWC’s Outlook program and now MGSM’s MBA program.
He has a commitment to social justice and community work.  Over the years this has seen him supporting groups such as ACMF, Adara, Relay for Life, UNICEF and Variety.  Most recently he has been asked to help Steve Waugh for the 10th Anniversary of his foundation for Kids with Rare Diseases.
