E22: Jerry Farsoun and Ludwina Dautovic discuss the challenging topics of bullying, depression and suicide and how technology is making it possible to reach those in need
'Switched On' Ep:22 Featuring Jerry Farsoun
Today I'll be talking to Jerry Farsoun, the founder of Overdownunder, a privately funded organization that focuses on grassroots strategies to combat bullying as well as depression and suicide education and prevention. Motivated by his own attempt at suicide, Jerry is incredibly passionate about getting his message out which is – to Stop Bullying, Cure Depression and Prevent Suicide.
But what’s really fascinating about his work is how he is using technology in an innovative way to get his message to the masses.

About Jerry Farsoun
With a smile worth a million dollars and a heart to melt the biggest of glaciers, you’d be forgiven thinking Jerry was born naturally ecstatic with life.
But it’s what happens behind closed doors that many don’t notice about someone that has attempted suicide. After surviving and realising this was not the way he wanted to be remembered, Jerry took a stand against one of the world’s biggest adversaries: Depression.
Since that day, Jerry has been on a quest to remove the stigma and bring light to a subject that’s seldom discussed despite its debilitating form.
So Jerry flies a parachute with a chopper on the back. Proving that there is a higher value to each and every person and what they can achieve through determination.
