SSP: 18 Ryan Saga – Taking Risks, Facing Fear

February 19, 2015

Sometimes comfortable is the biggest enemy of life. Taking risks will get you out of the comfort zone. Facing fears along the way.

We talk to our buddy and athlete Ryan McCardy about his path so far in life. Ryan had a good job coming out of High School and made a good living for himself. He had the house, the girlfriend, the big truck, extra spending money, the American Dream right? Some would think, but eventually he came to the conclusion that something wasn't right. He found waking up in the morning to go slave away at his job was getting harder and harder and he was not enjoying life as he should.

He decided to leave his comfortable life where money was no worry and pursue a passion that started for him back in High School - Fitness and Strength Training. He was not guaranteed anything in this line of work but he still took the leap of faith. Take Risks, Face Fears.

He talks about his learning experiences, how much seeking out knowledge and good mentors has helped him, and how it has effected his own  training and workouts. This is a fun and motivating show and a lesson to all of us that happiness and fulfillment could be just around that next risk or fear that's in the way.
