13. – Resilience, Collective Healing, and the Journey Home to Ourselves w/ Laura Thompson Brady

November 20, 2021

SHOW NOTES:
What does it mean to journey home to ourselves? What does it look like to be fully awake in the midst of life’s challenges and embody steadiness and joy when trauma appears to be the cultural default? How can you feel safe to be authentic to who you are while so many messages around us tell us to go with the flow, don’t rock the boat, or stay silent when truth could heal. In this episode we connect with Laura Thompson Brady; the creator and founder of Journey Home to You (a sound healing, private mentorship, and communal space for self-discovery) about this and so much more. Oh, and a special sound healing offering for your own calibration begins at timestamp 1:11:36

Dr. Laura Thompson Brady believes that personal healing and empowerment are the foundation for the capacity, resilience, and fortitude individuals must embody to help create a better world.

Holding a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies, Laura brings her academic lens to the deep archetypal work in her signature program Journey Home To You. Her extensive experience facilitating women’s circles and retreats, as well as her ongoing leadership training, supports her philosophy that personal empowerment is meant to solve the complex problems we face as communities for the betterment of all. Working with the natural world cycles, JourneyDance™, chakra alignment, and sound healing, Laura offers a unique pathway for women to thrive in their lives, remember who they were before the world told them who they should be, and become change agents for the greater good. Laura lives with her husband and three daughters in Maine on the traditional territory of the Wabanaki Confederacy. You can learn more at journeyhometoyou.com
