Eps 110: The Immigrant Refugee Story and Work of Karen González

July 19, 2017

Karen González's family fled Central America for their lives and came to America when she was a girl. Today, you will hear her story and the work she does now to help refugees resettle and get work when they escape certain death and find refuge in this country, but with no resources, family, or money to get them started.

You will be surprised at what you learn. (For instance, you'll find out a bit about the strange federal government system of (intensional) loopholes for non citizens to get work for the jobs U.S. citizens don't want. And, why and how most undocumented residents in the U.S. can and do find employment AND pay proper federal taxes.) And much more.

This episode is an eye-opener into a serious problem that brings widespread misunderstandings and resentments for those ignorant to the suffering caused in the unfairness of the incoherent and traumatizing immigration laws in the U.S.A.

It is well worth the listen-no matter what side of the issue you land on, politically-speaking.
