Dead Alive (1992)

…Wow, way to undersell it.
This movie is one of Peter Jackson’s greats, before the Lord of the Rings trilogy happened and cemented him as a “serious” film maker. Dead Alive (aka Braindead in every territory except for North America) was his follow up to “Meet The Feebles”, which is highly recommended if you’ve not seen it.
This film held the record for the most amount of fake blood ever used, so there’s that at least.
This one is a short episode, Swan and Bill have been on a break for a while and we’re welcoming you back with this wonderful masterpiece.
Dead Alive stars Timothy Balme, Diana Peñalver, Elizabeth Moody, and Ian Watkin, and was directed by Peter Jackson.
