There is a new totalitarianism emerging in the West in the form of an oligarchic dictatorship.  In order to prepare ourselves for it or even to fight against it, we have to understand what it looks like.  John rides solo today, diving into the characteristics of this new totalitarianism.  It will be based on an ideology that is a lie but everyone must pledge allegiance to it.  It will dictate every facet of our lives.  And it will give lip service to the Bill of Rights but there will be so many rules and regulations that you actually won't have access to those rights.  John reads an essay from 1978 by the late Vaclav Havel, former president of the Czech Republic, that eerily describes what we're seeing today.   Want more?
