Boomer Reinvention For Income Stability

February 25, 2015

A career development coach, speaker, university educator and former media/entertainment executive, John Tarnoff focuses on personal and professional transformation across generations – reintegrating the Boomer Generation workforce into the rapidly evolving 21st century workplace, and developing programs, opportunities and curriculum to support new generations of leaders and entrepreneurs.

John created the Boomer Reinventionâ„¢ curriculum from the lessons he has learned over a 40-year career devoted to developing and nurturing creative teams and projects in the Media/Entertainment industry.

John currently writes a blog on Boomer Reinvention for Huffington Post. He covers information and resources for people who were unable to save much for the decades of life left to them. It is essential that they learn to make work for themselves in order to survive. The Boomer generation is the largest generation and they will have to learn to reinvention themselves in order to survive.

Previously, people were taught to get their education early in life, get a job and then work until their retire. That is not a reality for this Boomer generation. They need to get new education, new skills to survive in the new reality — and they’ll have to work throughout what would normally be their retirement years. It will take a great deal of reinvention.
