The National Price of Perversion

The final two incidents in the book of the Judges reveals where the Levites were “spiritually†in their relationship to their divine calling.

When the Levites – the ones who are “paid†to do their job – fail in their responsibilities, then the most disgusting perversions run rampant in society. And when gross immorality is sanctioned – or at least not held in check by the government – then all of society pays for the moral decay.
