From the Nashville studios of the XBHS Radio Network. I'm Skip Orem. And this is Web Radio Today. Hey, everybody. Welcome to this special episode today, as we're getting ready to kick off a new season on September 23rd, that's just about a month from now.
This episode today has some important news for listeners of the Web Radio Today podcast.
So let's go right to the news right now, not medical news for seniors, but this is Web Radio Today podcast news.

Effective with the start of this new Web Radio Today season on September 23rd, Web Radio Today becomes Anchor Pointe.
That's right everybody. We will be changing the name of the Web Radio Today podcast changing that name to Anchor Pointe.
Skip Orem (01:13):
Ever since Web Radio Today began two years ago, some 45 episodes ago, listeners have, well they've often mentioned to me that they're confused by the name Web Radio Today because our name, well, it doesn't really describe or pertain to anything that we actually talk about on the podcast. We are after all a faith and fitness podcast designed especially for us older folks. And the
purpose of this podcast is to help us older folks, baby boomers, in our sixties, our seventies beyond,
to provide some important information and motivation to everyone listening to the podcast, to help us all stay close to God and to stay fit and healthy and to fight off those diseases that are just... Cancer, diabetes, heart disease, name, a disease. They are all just gunning for us older folks.

The goal we, all of us want to live a long, healthy, active, productive, and most importantly, happy life.
So what we're doing, we are in effect putting an Anchor Pointe at this point in our lives,
because we know from this Anchor Pointe in our lives, mark it down, we are actively taking the steps to increase our level of faith and fitness. And this Anchor Pointe podcast is going to continue to be your weekly source for faith and fitness, motivation, and information. So from this point on everybody, welcome to the Anchor Pointe podcast

To help you eliminate any confusion with this name change, you don't have to do anything. Anchor Pointe will come to you right there, right there in your podcast feed. It's just going to be called Anchor Pointe instead of Web Radio Today. So if you get Web Radio Today through your well, your regular podcast feed, no problem.
