Episode 11: Gerald Bray on creeds, councils, and Christ, and the state of Anglicanism

July 29, 2013

Special thanks for joining us to our listeners in Texas!
In this Episode

Fr. Charles Erlandson and Dr. Gerald Bray discuss the Christian creeds. They also briefly touch on the situation of Anglicanism today and Dr. Bray's systematic theology book God is Love. Dr. Bray is research professor at Samford University's Beeson Divinity School and a priest of the Church of England.

Dr. Bray also mentions his books Yours is the Kingdom and Creeds, Councils, and Christ as helpful resources for learning more about the faith and the creeds.

Also in this episode, I offer reflections on evil in the world and the Christian's hope, drawing on Christ's words as recorded in John 16:16-22. A longer form of this devotional is available by clicking here.
