Stand-up comedy is one of the most beloved forms of entertainment, and it's easy to see why. The culture of comedy reiterates numerous psychological concepts—by reducing the stigma on unconventional subjects, encouraging new perspectives and even showcasing the power of collective experiences.

Being Human
In our Being Human segment, the Shrink Tank Podcast panelists discuss some of the latest findings on psychology in the news.
New research suggests that we are predisposed to forgive. The brain forms social impressions in the way that can enable forgiveness. Because people sometimes behave badly by accident, we need to update bad impressions that were mistaken because we might end relationships prematurely and miss out on the many benefits of social interaction.
