Episode 17: Rachael Eastham discusses women’s life history use of contraception

May 20, 2016

In Episode 17, Rachael Eastham, a doctoral student at University of Lancaster in the Division of Health Research, talks to Karen about her study on 'The negotiation of the fertile body: women's life history experiences of using contraception and managing pregnancy.' Rachael's ESRC-funded qualitative research, with women aged 18-45 years, revealed fascinating accounts of their sense of self as well as side effects. If you've listened to Britta's podcast (episode 15) then you'll find this one fascinating too.
