It's finally time to step away from slashers and transition our horror discussions into the wide world of not-quite-zombies. We'll be talking down the ReAnimator series today in all its short-lived glory, including, but not limited to, decapitated cunnilingus.
First though, we have to put a bow on slashers, and to do that, we take a look at Adam Green's Hatchet trilogy, which was marketed as "Not a remake. Not a sequel. Not based on a Japanese movie." We discuss whether the films really cash-in on being "original," and how well they capture the feel of 1980s American slasher films.
All of that, plus special guest Byrd opens some string cheese and talks about dating, while special guest Trev is sad that he has neither a woman nor string cheese.
